Valentine C. Chanda, 84, of Cottonwood died January 12. She was born October 31, 1918 in Chicago, Illinois. She had worked at the Verde Valley Senior Center and she attended Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She leaves a daughter, Virgina Chanda of Cornville; a sister, Lauretta Bularzik of Winter Park, Florida; and a brother, Edwin Powlak of Titusville, Florida. There are no public services planned. Westcott assisted the family with these arrangements.
