Sanaida "Sandy" Vasquez Encisco

Sanaida (Sandy) Vasquez Encisco was received by her Lord and Savior on April 18, 2020 at the age of 84. She was born June 5, 1935 in Flagstaff, Arizona to Manuel and Manuela Vasquez.
She attended St. Anthony Catholic School in Flagstaff, AZ. For her 9th and 10th grade years of schooling she attended The Catholic Academy in Prescott, AZ. She completed her high school years at Flagstaff High School, where she excelled in typing and business. She graduated in 1953 with high honors.
Following graduation, she worked for Northern Arizona Gas, followed by Hutchison Motors Pontiac Agency, as a bookkeeper and office manager. During this time, she also attended Arizona State College.
In 1957, she married Justino Encisco and they began their life together as they built their family. In 1960, they moved to Cottonwood where they lived for 59 years together while raising their 5 children.
After raising her children, Sandy worked at TG\u0026Y and Rio Verde Manor until her retirement in 1993.
She was a very devout Roman Catholic her entire life. She was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her only brother Joseph R. Vasquez. She is survived by her husband of 63 years Justino (Tino) Encisco, and her 5 children, Gina Holt, Christine Soliz (Benny), John Encisco (Trudy), Andrew Encisco and Loretta Sims (Mike - deceased). She also had 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren who loved her very much.
She will truly be missed by all those that loved and knew her.
