Sally Jane Teague Ochoa

Sally Jane Teague Ochoa went home to the Lord on Friday, April 17, 2026.

Sally was born in Cottonwood, Arizona on May 29, 1938 to John Franklin and Concha Louce Teague. She was the youngest of 11 children. Sally had fond childhood memories of walking to Church hand in hand with her father, and in her teen years she enjoyed being with friends and going to dances.

She married Charles Anthony Ochoa in 1957 and together they had 4 children: Charles, Raymond, Laurie and Tina. The family lived in the central Arizona area (Cottonwood, Camp Verde, Flagstaff and Prescott) finally settling in Prescott where she was a Nurse Assistant at Yavapai County Hospital, and later Office Nurse for Dr. Gus Scott. In Prescott, she with husband Charles were active in Sacred Heart Parish Catholic Church in Cursillo, Marriage Encounter and Youth Ministry and in Cottonwood Sally was active in The St. Vincent De Paul Society.

Sally was predeceased by her husband Charles in 2021 and all her siblings, most recently her sister Mary Ann Duran in 2025. Sally is survived by her children & spouses: Charles (Louise), Raymond, Laurie, and Tina (Robert), and 9 Grandchildren (Josh, RJ, Deanna, Jen, Chris, Jordan, Raymond, Claire, Lauren and Carly) and 5 Great-Grandchildren (Calder, Ellis, Damien, Elanor and Wyatt), several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.

In her later years, Sally’s great love was her Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren.

A Rosary Service will be held (Wescott Funeral Home …and Funeral Mass will be on …. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Interment and reception immediately following. Dates will be announced once confirmed.
