Russell McCrossen, 67, of Cornville, Arizona died Wednesday May 23, 2012 at his home. He was born June 16, 1944 in Waupaca, Wisconsin, the son of Gordon James McCrossen and Evelyn (Barton) McCrossen. He attended Waupaca schools. Mr. McCrossen started and ran Northland Distributing for 33 years in Sedona. An avid sportsman, he enjoyed hunting, deep sea fishing, archery and rifle. He hunted in Arizona, Alaska, Canada and Russia with friends and nephews. The Arizona strip was his favorite. Russell will be deeply missed by his family and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mr. McCrossen is survived by his of 27 years, Vivian; daughter April McCrossen of Sedona; sisters Karen Brown (Ed) of Mesa, Joanne Carrello (Paul) of Mesa and Carol Brown (Ray) of Queen Creek. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 31 in the Canyon Trails Cowboy Church, 3132 White Bear Road, Sedona at 10:30 AM.
