Norvella Louise Vanderford
May 10, 1941 - August 19, 2019

Norvella was born in Wray, Colorado to Elmer and Lamedia Bullard and in Wray, CO was where she grew up and met the love of her life Norvin Vanderford and in 1959 they were married. They moved to California where he was stationed and they were blessed with their first child. In 1963 they settled in Kearney, NE and was blessed with 3 more children. In 1976 they moved to Cottonwood where they remained. She worked at the hospital for many years until she retired. Her life ran around her family; her children and grandkids were her pride and joy along with her 3 adopted grandkids and their children.
Norvella was preceded in death by her parents; 9 brothers; 2 sisters; her husband Norvin; son Allen and 3 grandkids. She is survived by 2 daughters Angela Vanderford of Cottonwood and Kathy Cochren of Wray, CO; 1 son Doug Vanderford (Jeanine) of Wray, CO; 2 granddaughters Brandy Preslar of Cottonwood and Jennifer Cochren of Phoenix; 1 grandson Nick Vanderford of Wray, CO; 1 brother Albert Bullard of Denver, CO; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at Westcott Funeral Home in Cottonwood on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at 11:00am.
