Myrna Corrine Jacobs, 86, resident of Sedona, Arizona, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, August 8, 2026. She was intelligent, feisty, funny and lived life on her own terms while breaking every rule.

Myrna was born December 4, 1939 to Morris and Adele (Glassner) Steinberg in Newark, New Jersey. She was a graduate of Weequahic High School and Clayton College.

In 1958, she married the love of her life, the late Alan Jacobs, and in 1964, they moved to North Brunswick, New Jersey before retiring to Sedona in 1999.

Myrna worked as a realtor and mortgage broker before she and Alan opened Relocorp, where she served as President and co-owner. Initial retirement did not last long for Myrna and she went back to work as an award-winning salesperson for Wyndham Hotels & Resorts before retiring once again in her early 70s.

Myrna leaves behind her daughters, Lauren (Steve) Marshall of St. Louis, Missouri and Monica Jacobs of Cottonwood, Arizona; her son, Larry (Diane) Jacobs of Washington, New Jersey; her brother, Arthur (Jeri) Steinberg. In addition she is survived by seven beautiful grandchildren: Mike, Dina, Alex, James, Morgan, Zsofia, and Hunter as well as two precious great-grandchildren: Madison and Gabriel.

An avid reader, she would often have 20 or more books out of the library at the same time. She enjoyed watching game shows and in 1967, she competed on the game show 'Concentration' where she was undefeated. She then competed in and won the 1968 Challenge of Champions.

Her many hobbies included traveling, reading, shopping, baking, crocheting, and playing Mah Jongg and Canasta.
