Mildred Louise Zufelt, 85 of Cottonwood, passed away June 26, 2008. She was born March 6, 1923 in Douglas, AZ to John and Jessie Wade. Mildred is a retired postmaster and volunteer at Verde Valley Medical Center. Mildred is survived by her son John Zufelt (Joanne); daughters Sandra Mason (Doug) of Rock Springs, WY and Lois Kellenbenz (Robert) of Cottonwood; 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband John I. Zufelt. A graveside service for Mildred will be held Wednesday, July 2 at 10am at Cottonwood Cemetery.
