Mildred Haywood

Mildred Haywood of Cottonwood passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2014. She was 94 years old. Mildred was born on December 22, 1919 in Mesa, AZ to H.D. and Lillie Sexton. Born and raised in Arizona, Mildred attended Prescott High School and graduated in 1937. She was a member of Verde Baptist Church and she enjoyed gardening, painting, reading and family gatherings. Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, J. Paul Haywood. She is survived by her son, Paul (Roza) Haywood of Cottonwood, AZ; her daughters, Jeanette (George) of Wister, OK, Karen (Donald) of Kirkland, AZ and Sally (John) of Prineville, OR; 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
