Maxie (Max) D. Brown 90, of Clarkdale, Arizona passed May 28, 2026

Max was born and raised in Lakeland Florida. As a young man he worked with his dad in construction then entered the electronics field and spent the next 35 years in the computer industry retiring with Digital Equipment Corporation.

Max and his wife moved to Cottonwood in 2002 and he began volunteering, both for Meals-On-Wheels and the AARP Tax Aide for the next 15 years. He enjoyed rebuilding cars/trucks and traveling.

Max leaves behind his wife Susan of 52 years, his daughter Julie (Jerry), Ft Worth, Texas and his son Christopher (Chere), San Jose California, three grandsons and four great-grand children. Max was pre-deceased by his son Jeffrey.

There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
