Mary Duran

Mary Ann Duran, born December 10, 1934, in Globe, Arizona, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2025. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great‑grandmother, she lived a long and beautiful life rooted in family, faith, and hard work.

Married to her beloved husband, Onofre Duran, for 71 years, Mary Ann cherished their life together and took great pride in raising their three children. She is lovingly remembered by her daughter Rose Mary Mason and son‑in‑law Carter Mason, and by her son Onofre Alex Duran and daughter‑in‑law Christine Duran.

Mary Ann worked as a hairdresser until 2024, finding joy in serving her community with kindness and warmth. Her gentle spirit touched everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her grandchildren Kimberly Wiland, Katheryn Mason, Katrina Duran-Burchfield, and Quentin Duran; and by her great‑grandchildren Alexander Mollman, Kiera Shepherd, Beau Duran, and Ridge Duran. Her legacy lives on in each of them.

A Funeral Mass will be held on January 5, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, followed by burial at All Souls Cemetery.

Mary Ann will be remembered for her steady presence, her generous heart, and the love she shared throughout her 91 years.
