Manuel I. Padilla

Manuel I. Padilla, 58, of Clarkdale died March 10. He was born December 12, 1950 in Superior. He attended Clarkdale-Jerome schools and graduated from Mingus Union High School. He worked as a maintenance and groundskeeper for different resorts in the Sedona area and worked with the Yavapai-Apache construction crew. He loved to fish. He was preceded in death by his mother Nellie Padilla. Mr. Padilla is survived by his wife, Lucille Johnson; son, Chris Padilla of Florence, stepsons, Nathan, Chris and Nate Russell of Clarkdale; stepdaughters Jennifer Russell, Genevieve Russell, both of Clarkdale and Jessie Russell of Clarkdale; father-in-law, Morgan Johnson, sisters Guadalupe (Lynn) Evans of Yuma and Paula (Alfred) Corona of Hayden, eight grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
