Lucille Anne Johnson, 65, of Clarkdale passed away on Sunday July 28th, 2024 in Camp Verde surrounded by her children. She was born on April 2nd, 1959 to Morgan Johnson Sr and Louise Johnson.
Lucille attended Clarkdale-Jerome School. She worked in various housekeeping jobs in the Verde Valley/Sedona area. Lucille worked every day of her life doing what she loved. She found her place of employment within her tribal community, The Yavapai Apache Nation as a custodian, where she finished her life long career. Lucille enjoyed her spirits with numerous of family and friends whom she loved all from the bottom of her heart. She loved watching sports with her dad from basketball to baseball, she loved her Los Angeles Dodgers & Los Angeles Lakers, she made it known to everyone who knew her, she did not like any Arizona teams.
Overall, Lucille was a kind, friendly person that lived her life her way. Those who knew Lucille best, knew how honored we were to have a free spirit like her in our lives.
Lucille preceded in death by her late husband, Manuel Padilla, her sister, Mattie Fields and her late brother in law, Fred Fields, her parents, Morgan Johnson Sr. and Louise (Jackson) Johnson.
She is survived by her dog, "Speedy", daughters, Jennifer Russell, Genevieve (Stacy) Bates, Jessie (Robert) Russell, her sons, Nathan (Clarese) Russell, James "Chris" Russell and Nate (Shawndae) Russell all of Camp Verde. Her brothers, Morgan Johnson Jr (Irene), Marvin (Annette) Johnson and her sister Libby Johnson all of Clarkdale. 21 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
