Keith Miller of Cornville, Arizona died on October 17th, 2025 at Verde Valley Medical Center.
He was born on July 10th, 1944 in Kansas City, Missouri. He was the eldest son of Herbert and
Vivian Miller.
Keith attended Southeast Highschool in Kansas City, Missouri and graduated with a bachelor's
degree in science education from Central Methodist College in Fayette, Missouri.
Keith's profession as well as his passion was being an educator. He started his educational career
teaching general science classes at Glasgow Highschool in Glasgow, Missouri from 1967 to 1971
and from 1971 to 1976 at William Chrisman Junior Highschool in Independence, Missouri. He
taught mathematics at Cornerstone Christian Academy in Cottonwood, Arizona from 1994 to
1997.
Despite his joy from teaching, he did have various jobs in the subsequent years. He worked in
farming, retail, was a financial broker and ultimately retired from roofing at the age of 70. When
he wasn't working he spent much of his time studying biblical theology. He would often
contemplate biblical concepts while walking, gardening and sitting by the river. Keith loved
Arizona and eventually came to admire and respect Native American culture.
Keith is survived by his sister: Cheryl Baxter, former wives: Lynn Baker (1965 to 1976) and
Beverly Miller (1977 to 2015), his six children: Alycia Wiley, Barak Miller, Shilah Riley, Jesse
Miller, Nissi McDonald, Talia Miller and his six grand children: Gideon Wiley, Isaiah Wiley,
Kenzie Pile, Amelia Pile, Zion Miller and Emmett Riley
