Joseph W. Salazar, Jr.

Joseph William Salazar, Jr., 41, of Phoenix, died July 5 in Phoenix. He was born January 24, 1962 in Phoenix. He attended St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Phoenix. He was a member of the Yavapai-Apache Nation and has many relatives in the Verde Valley. He leaves his wife, Claudia Salazr of Phoenix; three daughters, Karolyn Salazar, Kasarah Salazar and Cheyenne Salazar, all of Phoenix; four sons, Avery Salazar, Joseph Salazar, Quanah Salazar, Tahza Salazar all of Phoenix; his father, Joseph Salazar, Sr. of Phoenix; a sister, Bernadine Salazar; three brothers, Clarence Salazar, Roland Salazar and Warren Salazar; and two grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Friday, July 11 in the Westcott Funeral Home, 1013 E. Mingus Ave. Cottonwood at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow in the Valley View Cemetery in Clarkdale.
