It is with heavy hearts yet grateful spirits that we announce the passing of John Edward Moore Jr., who left this world on February 19, 2025, at the age of 75. John was born on Feb. 4, 1950 in Red Jacket W. Va. and spent retired years of his life in the beautiful community of Cottonwood, AZ. He was a beloved husband to Michele Susette Moore and a cherished friend to many. John is the father of deceased Peter Juan Moore and surviving sons Benjamin Lawrence Moore of Cottonwood, AZ and Eric Juan Starghill of Maryland. John has 3 surviving siblings all residents of W. Va. Henry Clay Moore, Dovie Moore Wilburn and Eudora Moore Howard. And 2 grandchildren Eva and Evelyn Starghill of Maryland
John was known as the handyman who could fix anything, a true craftsman whose skills brought joy and comfort to those around him. His talent for solving problems was only rivaled by his remarkable ability to bring peace into any situation. A natural peacemaker and peacekeeper, John touched the lives of countless individuals with his kindness and understanding. His legacy of love, strength, and unwavering support will forever resonate in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. One of John's deepest loves was music which he fulfilled and shared as a radio host on KUMD.
John's life will be celebrated in memory everyday by all those lives that were touched by John Friends, family, and all whose lives were enriched by John's presence.
In accordance with John's wishes, he will be cremated, and the family has chosen to have the remarkable, multifaceted life of a truly extraordinary man commemorated into stones so that they may hold him close wherever they may be.
John was always there to help and comfort others and will be remembered for all he reached out to. His greatest gift was practicing “ Making Our World A Better Place…”
