John Lindsey Nichols, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and Navy veteran, passed away on August 4, 2024, in Cornville, Arizona. Born in Texas on June 20, 1940, John led a life defined by love, dedication, and service.
John will be forever remembered by his children Chelsea, Charles, and Stacy, and their respective spouses, as well as his 4 precious grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. His commitment to family was unwavering, and his legacy of love and laughter will endure through generations to come
A proud Navy veteran, John served his country with honor and valor from November 3, 1960, until his honorable discharge on November 2, 1966. Following his military service, John devoted himself to his family and had a passion for greyhound rescues, whom he cherished deeply.
John's passion for life, his unwavering dedication to family, and his selfless service to his country will forever remain etched in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. Though he may have left this world, his spirit lives on in the memories and stories shared by those who loved him most.
In honor of John's memory, Military services will be held at Prescott National Cemetery at a time to be announced. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
