Janet Rae Pender Foster, 62 of Cottonwood, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2019. She was born on June 6, 1957 in Cottonwood to Jervie Dee Pender and Geraldine Mae Pender.
Janet attended Mingus Union High School. She was a caregiver, homemaker and an artist.
Janet remained true to herself throughout her entire life. Her love endured always.
Janet enjoyed painting, horseback riding, gardening, exploring, swimming and being with family and friends. She had a very unique and beautiful spirit and an unparalleled ability to accept without judgement and to love unconditionally.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents Geraldine and Jervie Pender. She is survived by her son Todd Brock (Jessica) of Cottonwood; daughters Sarah Taylor (Chip) of Cornville, Carolyn Foster, Heather Foster and Madison Foster, all of Cottonwood; brother Jervie Leon Pender of Cottonwood; sister Carol Kennick of Camp Verde and 16 grandchildren.
Services for Janet will be held at Dead Horse Ranch State Park, 675 Dead Horse Ranch Road in Cottonwood on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 12:00pm.
