James H. Spinker, Sr., 68, of Camp Verde died February 29, 2012. He was born September 30, 1943 in Elgin, Illinois, the son of Paul D. and Marjorie M. Spinker. He was a graduate of Carl Hayden High School in Phoenix. Mr. Spinker worked as a roofer and truck driver. He retired from Vulcan Materials. His hobbies included camping, fishing and hunting. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Michelle Turner and a brother David Spinker. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Catherine Spinker; sons James H. Spinker, Jr. and Kenneth P. Spinker, both of Phoenix; a daughter Kimberly Branstetter (Paul) of Anchorage, Alaska; a brother Michael Spinker (Coleen) of San Diego, California; grandchildren Jacob, Camryn, Addison and Hailey.
