Howard Ernest Burch

Pastor Howard Ernest Burch, 62, resident of Cottonwood and formerly of Decatur, IL, passed away on May 5, 2017 at Verde Valley Medical Center. Howard was retired from the Air Force and an ordained minister. Howard is survived by two daughters and four grandchildren, all of whom reside in the state of Arizona. He is also survived by a brother Stephen Burch of Mattoon, IL; sister Katrinka West of Long Creek, IL; nephew John West (Julie) of Indianapolis, IN; nephew Jeff West of O\u0027Fallon, MO and niece Joyce Bush (Ben) of Moweaqua, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents Max and JoAnn Burch. Howard loved to go camping, fishing and hiking. He also enjoyed ministering to the nursing homes and retirement facilities. He also enjoyed singing and playing his guitar. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 11:00am at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix.
