Henry L. Meyers, 85 of Camp Verde , passed away on February 2, 2012. He was born on August 11, 1926 in Chicago , Illinois to Henry L. Meyers and Irene Girnth. Henry attended St. Michaels then went on to receive his masters in English and History at De Paul University. Henry was a seaman during WWII and was honored with the Victory Medal and the American Area Campaign Medal. Henry worked as a teacher for the Chicago public school system. Henry was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Irene. He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Ruth; son Henry L. Meyers "Ben" (Darlene) of Norridge, IL; daughters Donna Hoffman (Steve) of Arlington Park, IL, Felicia Fox (Bill) of Chicago, IL and Claudia Bellamare (Josh) of Ontario, Canada and 7 grandchildren.
