Helen Louise Pointon, 80, of Cottonwood died September 8. She was born June 1, 1923 in Brooklyn, New York. She was a graduate of the Girl\u0027s School in Brooklyn, New York. She was a retired nurse and a housewife. Mrs. Pointon was an animal lover, enjoyed travel and water color painting. She leaves her husband of 56 years, Norman; a son, Robert and a daughter Karen, both of Durango, Colorado. Private family services will be held in New York. Westcott Funeral Home served the family.
