Geraldine Enriquez, 78, passed away suddenly on September 2, 2025, in Sun City, Arizona. Born on October 28, 1946, in Jerome, Arizona, she lived a life rich in family, faith, and joyful traditions.
Geraldine was a devoted mother and grandmother to her children: Gilbert R. Enriquez, Genevieve R. Enriquez, Timothy W Enriquez (Sandra Enriquez), and Theresa M Enriquez (François Côté). She had 9 grandchildren. Her love for her family was the cornerstone of her life. She found great joy in spending time with her grandchildren—moments filled with laughter, games, and stories that reflected her playful spirit and sharp sense of humor. Her competitive streak often made her the reigning champion of family game nights.
A woman of deep faith, Geraldine was an active member of Immaculate Conception Church in Cottonwood, where she served as part of the Ministry of Praise. Her spiritual life was a guiding force and brought her great comfort and purpose. She had a big heart and always tried to help people.
Geraldine’s passions were woven into the fabric of her daily life. She loved cooking—especially making tamales—and took pride in preparing meals that brought people together. Shopping trips and dining out with friends were among her favorite pastimes, offering opportunities to share laughter and create cherished memories. Christmas held a special place in her heart; she celebrated it with unmatched enthusiasm and warmth.
Her affection for animals was evident to all who knew her. Whether through stories or quiet moments of care, Geraldine’s compassion extended beyond people to the creatures she adored.
She also enjoyed sewing and found peace in the rhythm of creating something by hand. These hobbies reflected not only her creativity but also her nurturing nature.
Geraldine was preceded in death by her Mother Geraldine Gutierrez and her Father Stanley Gutierrez. Her memory lives on through those who loved her and were touched by her vibrant presence.
May Geraldine Enriquez’s legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering faith continue to bring comfort to those who knew her.
