Frank Edmond Ogden Il, 77, of Cottonwood, Arizona passed away Sunday, November 17, 2024. He was born May 11, 1947 in Clinton, Iowa to the late Frank Byron Ogden Il and Carolyn Beebe Ogden.

Frank graduated from Mingus Union High School, Jerome in 1965 and Northern Arizona

University formerly named Arizona State College in 1969 with a Business Administration

(Marketing) degree. While serving in the military Frank earned a MS in Information Systems Management from the U. S. Naval Postgraduate School, San Diego in 1979

Frank's career in the U. S. Navy spanned from June 1969 to April 1990, retiring with the rank of Commander. He began his career in Naval Flight Officer training in Pensacola, FL and completed his training with advanced NFO training at the Glenco Naval Air Station in GA, Frank served flying the EA 6B Prowler aircraft. An Electric Attack, Electric Warfare, Vigilante Aircraft, with the mission of jamming enemy radar systems and gathering radio intelligence. Frank spent many deployments with various Aircraft Carriers: USS NIMITS, KIITY HAWK, FORRESTAL and EISENHAWER. Frank earned many personal and unit citations including the Distinguished Flying Cross.

After his Navy career Frank worked for several years as an Information Technology Professional in the Washington, D. C. area. In 1997 Frank, with his wife and his two youngest children moved back to Cottonwood where he and his wife ran Olde Tyme Photo Studios at the Blazin' M Ranch in Cottonwood and in Sedona.

Frank is survived by his wife Jacqueline of 33 years, his brother Charles A. Ogden of Scottsdale AZ, his loving children Frank B Ogden Ill of Houston, Texas, Darcy Hansen of Tacoma, Washington, Blythe Streets of Bozeman, Montana, Jason Maddock of Rimrock, AZ and Mackenzie Maddock of Cottonwood, AZ and 9 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother William Beebe Ogden.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at Peace Lutheran Church, 1450 Fir Street in Cottonwood at 10:00. Contributions can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758512, Topeka, KS 66675-8512.
