Frances R. Baxter

Frances R (Seitz) Baxter was born in Winters, Texas on August 27, 1933. She moved to Flagstaff at 8 days of age and later moved to Cornville. She passed away on September 1, 2021, at her home in Cornville.

She is survived by her daughter Diane (Gene) Metz of Florence and son Walter Bob Baxter of Cornville, grandchildren Tyler (Heather) Baxter, Trent (Ali) Baxter, Troy (Jessica) Baxter, Frandee Johnson, Shawn (Erin) Lunsford, and Callie (Eric) Maldonado, and 16 great grandchildren.  Frances was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Clifford Baxter. Frances worked at Cornville Post office for 30 years where she was a mail handler and then became the 12^th Postmaster until retirement.  She then worked for Gladys Bridgewater at Fashion Crossroads for 23 years.
