Elinor Belle Kinney Hunter, 91, of Cottonwood died August 27. She was born August 10, 1919 in Elgin, Nebraska, the daughter of Walter Lewis Kinney and Ella Maude Earl Kinney. She received a Masters Degree from Arizona State University. She was a teacher, public librarian, school librarian in Phoenix and Tempe Public Libraries. She was a member of Verde Valley Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Hunter is survived by her husband of 70 years, Raymond Hunter; sons Jon C. Hunter (Judy) of San Marcos Lake, California, James W. Hunter (Cherlye) of Scottsdale, Arizona and Steven J. Hunter (Sherril), of Scotttsdale, Arizona; daughters Judith R. Galas (Frank) of Tempe, Arizona and Susan K. Wingard (Stan) of Cottonwood; brother Roland E. Kinney (Phyllis) of Elgin, Nebraska; sister Dorothy I. Curie (Wayne) of Norfolk, Nebraska; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
