Earl L. Sands, 81, of Cottonwood died December 20, 2013. He was born January 25, 1932 in Salem, IL, the son of Earl F. and Myrtle (Donoho) Sands. He retired from Phoenix Fire Department in 1980. He was a member of Verde Valley Wood Carvers. Mr. Sands is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary (Jody) Sands. Son, William Sands (Denise), Daughter, Bonnie Clark (Ronald), 3 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren. Memorial services have been held.
