Passed away July 30, 2026.  He was 78 years old.  

Buddy was born in Greenville, Illinois and grew up in Taylor Springs. He loved ice skating, fishing, rock collecting, and the adventures he had with his cousins. 

After graduating from Hillsboro High School, he joined the Army then went to a welding school in St. Louis. He was an amazing welding artist, creating unique, one of a kind, blue steel works of art. He also loved wood carving.

He was sensitive, caring, hard-working, and sometimes a real handful. He had a great sense of humor and was quite the prankster at times. 

He is preceded in death by his Grandmother Lydia Ann Scott and is survived by his cousins Marcia, Greg, Jeff, James Dean, and his best friend Suzy.  

There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
