Dorothy J. Walker, 90, of Cottonwood died June 4. She was born Dorothy Louise on March 24, 1913 in Elder, Colorado, the second daughter of John Gottchalk and Anna Johnson. On March 24, 1936, she married Louis Albert Morgan in Los Angeles, California and to their union there were no children. He died on September 7, 1944 and is buried in Forest Lawn, Los Angeles, California. She later married Keith Vincent Walker on June 15, 1952 in Tonopah, Nevada and to their union there were no children. He preceded her in death, September 29, 1977 and is buried in Eternal Valley, Newhall, California. Mrs. Walker is survived by her sister, Alvira Lucinda Dunkin and a brother, Donald A. Johnson of Cottonwood, Arizona and another sister, Anna Lorene Earl of Farmersville, California. She leaves five nephews to mourn her death, Duane Kent Dunkin of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Gary Don Johnson of Santa Rosa, California and Dennis Lane Johnson of Arlington, Washington, Eugene Paul Morgan of Waltham, Massachusetts and Lee Allen Morgan of Farmersville, California; and five favored grand nieces and nephews, Jody Johnson Caccitore, Aaron and Julia Dunkin and Eric and Melissa Morgan. Other members of her family are cousisns, Irene Roach and Evelyn Miller in Eugene, Oregon and Frances Gottbehuet in Fowler, Colorado. Mrs. Walker lived most of her adult life in the greater Los Angeles area, and was an active person, a business woman, traveler and made many friends who always thought highly of her. She moved from Fiendly Valley, California to Cottonwood, Arizona in 1992, where she resided in Sawmill Gardens. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 9 in the Westcott Funeral Home at 2 PM. Burial will be later in the week in the Eternal Valley Memorial Park in Newhall, California.
