Dorothy Pauline Scott Kleck, formerly of Cottonwood, 89, passed away on April 17, 2012 in Boise, Idaho. Dorothy was born on May 19, 1922 in Fowler, California to Ruth Sherwood and George Scott where she was the middle of three children. Dorothy met and fell in love with Edwin Loren Kleck, an Army Air Corp pilot. They were married on April 1, 1944 in Phoenix, Arizona. After his time in the Army, the couple settled down in Phoenix where they had and raised two children, Rick and Beverly. Dorothy was a loving housewife. She loved to square dance, read and travel with her husband in their RV. She met many great friends and loved to tell stories of their travels. She has also belonged to Eastern Star since 1950. Dorothy and Ed spent 61 happy years together before he passed away on August 27, 2005. She is survived by her younger brother, Kenneth (Zoe) Scott of Oklahoma, her son, Rick (Caroline) Kleck of Phoenix, Arizona, her daughter, Beverly (Donald) Stevenson of Boise, Idaho, her grandson, Bryan (Sara) Kleck of Anthem, Arizona and granddaughter, Sheri (Taylor) Hunter of Millcreek, Washington. A memorial service will be held at The Summit Church Boise (10375 W. Overland Rd) on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 10 a.m. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetary in Phoenix, Arizona.
