Doreen Annette Polequaptewa

Doreen Annette Polequaptewa, 48 of Phoenix, passed away on Sunday, March 18, 2012. She was born on April 19, 1963 in Cottonwood to Franklin Polequaptewa and Roselind Eunice Polequaptewa. Doreen attended T. Edison Elementary School, T. Roosevelt Jr. High and H.H. Hoover High. She worked as budget analyst for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Doreen was a Phoenix Suns fan, an Arizona Cardinals fan and a season ticket holder for the Phoenix Suns for 2 years. Doreen is survived by daughters Felicia A. P. Lewis and Victoria Rose P. Lewis, both of Phoenix; brothers Franklin Polequaptewa Jr. of Cottonwood and Arlen Richard Polequaptewa of Middle Verde, AZ; sister Victoria Polequaptewa of Cottonwood; mother Roselind Eunice Polequaptewa of Middle Verde and father Franklin Polequaptewa (Debra) of Whittier, CA. A visitation will be held on Monday, March 26, 2012 at the Yavapai Apache Nation Gym, 2400 W. Datsi, Middle Verde, AZ from 4:00 to 7:00pm.
