Dollena "Dolly" Barber

Dollena “Dolly” Barber age 92, went to be with the Lord on October 12, 2026.

Dolly was preceded in death by her parents, Otis and Ruby Hitt, her husband Vernon, and her son Michael.

She is survived by her son, Mark; 3 grandchildren, Carrie, Chad (Heather), of Michigan; Raymond (Corrina) of California; 7 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Phyllis K. Bearel and Sharon Garrison, of West Virginia; along with many extended family and friends.

Dolly worked for 25 years at the phone company. She and husband, Vernon, retired in Cottonwood. She was active in her church, Verde Community. She enjoyed serving the Lord, visiting, reading, and baking. A memorial service will be held at Verde Community Church at a later date.

Dolly will be laid to rest with her husband, Vernon, in a private ceremony at Green Acres Cemetery in Scottdale, AZ.
