Deborah Ann Curtis, 60, of Sedona, died March 14, 2012. She was born on August 19, 1951 in Greeley Colorado, the daughter of Jack and Mary Lindbloom. Deborah moved to Sedona with her son, Jesse, and daughter, Sarah from Taos, NM in 1986. Her family would like to remember her life, not her death. When Deborah walked into a room, she filled it. Even small gestures like a smile, a laugh, or a hug radiated the warmth of a star. Yet, unlike our sun, Deborah's world seemed to revolve around us. No matter who she spoke to, be it a close family member or a complete stranger, that person became the center of the universe, if just for that moment. She loved talking but she listened even better. Deborah's spirit lives on in her daughter Sarah Curtis, uncle Keith and aunt Marilyn Lindbloom, uncle Charles Lindbloom, Aunt Lois Lindbloom, Sarah's half-brother Adam Curtis, Sarah's aunts Devorah and Barbara Curtis, Sarah's grandmother Marjorie Curtis, and many cousins and friends. Deborah was a kind friend, a nurturing mother and a loving soul. Our world is a little dimmer without her here but the moments we shared with her are eternal. A friend wrote this about Deborah after her passing. "Her spirit was eagle, her personality hummingbird. 'You thought you were small and insignificant, hummingbird, but we, who know you best, will always remember you as eagle in flight.' " No public service is planned.
