David C. Blauert

David Carl Blauert was born on March 4, 1943 to Emil August & Bertha (Holzhauer) Blauert in Frazee, Minnesota. After graduating from high school in 1961, Dave moved to Sedona, Arizona. In 1963, Dave joined the United States Marine Corps and married Billie Herrick in 1965. This union was blessed with two daughters, Lauren and Spring. In 2017, Dave married Wendy Jones. Blauert Construction was developed in 1966. Dave’s history of contribution for the good of Sedona was extraordinary... From the development of residential communities, recruiting for the Marine Corp, raising funds for multiple community projects and being a highly respected philanthropist, Dave’s legacy will never be forgotten... Dave is survived by his two daughters Lauren Blauert (Ira Kostrinski) and Spring Devaux of Durango, Colorado, granddaughter Ella Devaux and grandson Boden Devaux of Durango, Colorado, brother Harry Blauert (Virginia) of Colorado Springs, Colorado and nephews Tony Blauert, Robert Blauert and Joey Blauert, nieces Tavia Tan and Tamara Blaich. Dave was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Carol Blaich, former wife Billie Herrick, and his wife Wendy Jones. A Celebration of Life is pending and will be announced at a later date
