Daniel J. Ryan

Daniel J. Ryan, 42, of Cottonwood died April 14. He was born May 24, 1961 in Elmhurst, Illinois. He attended schools in Lombard and West Chicago, Illinois. He worked as a Wal-Mart associate in the hardware department. He previously had worked as a mechanic in Illinois. He was of the Catholic faith. He enjoyed fishing, following NASCAR races and was known as a very personable guy. He leaves two brothers, Robert J. Ryan, Jr. (and his wife Patricia Heier) of Cottonwood and Timothy L. Grandrud of West Chicago, Illinois; two sisters, Debra Grandrud (and her husband Ken) of Mundelien, Illinois and Janet Smigi (and her husband Scott) of Carol Stream, Illinois. A memorial service will be held in Illinois. Donations in his memory may be made to St. Mark\u0027s Catholic Church, St. Charles, Illinois. Westcott Funeral Home assisted the family with these arrangements.
