Cay Alberta Henington

Cay Alberta Henington, 68 of Cottonwood, passed away August 11, 2012. She was born on June 7, 1944 in Willits, California to Clifford and Katherine Johnston. Cay worked for Verde Valley Medical Center. She loved her family and friends with all her heart and loved nature in all its purity and peacefulness. Cay loved to cook and bake. She was a lover of books and loved all animals such as birds, cats and dogs. Cay was preceded in death by her daughter DeeAnna Wright. She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Preston Henington; son Clifford Hatcher (Doylene) of Creswell, OR; daughter Marie Minter of Cottonwood; 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held at 3:00pm with the service following at 3:30pm on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at Westcott Funeral Home, 1013 E. Mingus Ave in Cottonwood.
