Betty L. Mahoney, 79, of Clarkdale died August 23. She was born July 24, 1925 in Freeport, Ohio, the daughter of Robert and Mabel Albaugh. She graduated from Scio, Ohio High School and worked as a secretary in the Insurance industry. Mrs. Mahoney is survived by her husband of 39 years, Joseph A. Mahoney; a son, Terry L. Abbuhl of Tucson; three sisters, Freda Lawthers of Clarkdale, Jane Thompson of Prescott and Marianne Crowl of Carmichael, California; and two grandchildren. There are no public services planned. Westcott Funeral Home assisted the family.
