Yolanda Velazquez

Yolanda Velazquez, 62 of Cottonwood, passed away on May 12, 2013. She was born on July 11, 1950 in Ajo, Arizona to Jose Robles Macias and Maria Valencia. Yolanda attended Mingus Union High School. After being a proud high school graduate, she worked at the Pinmore Sewing Factory for about 10 years. She then tended to homemaking for nearly over a decade before her 6 years of employment for the Cottonwood-Oak Creek School District #6 in the food service department as a cashier and later Office Aid. Yolanda loved to dance and provide care and any form of support to a loved one in need. Yolanda is survived by her husband of 36 years, Tony; daughter Annie of Phoenix; brothers Jesus of Cottonwood, Jose of Wickenburg, and Onofre of Granby, MO and sister Gloria of Cottonwood.
