Rosalie Hershberger

Rosalie Hershberger, 83, current resident of Cottonwood, AZ, and long time resident of Arizona, passed away Monday, January 23, 2006. She was born on September 14, 1922 to Michael and Maria Popovich in Jeanette, PA. Professionally, she worked in retails sales, and did so until time of retirement. She was an active member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Parish in Cottonwood, AZ. Rosalie always found joy in things that most would consider work. She loved gardening, cooking, and taking care of her home and the various tasks that come with the role of homemaker. Her one delight outside of her home would be playing slots! Rosalie is preceded in death by her husband, John H. Hershberger. She was the devotoed, loving mother of Richard Hershberger of Hashbrock Heights, NJ, David Hershberger of Hibley, AZ, Christine Warren of Cottonwood, AZ. She was the beloved sister of Nick Popovich of Prescott, AZ and Mary Popovich of La Habra, CA and she was the adored grandmother to five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Rosary and Visititation will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2006 at Westcott Funeral Home, 1013 E. Mingus Ave. in Cottonwood. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00pm with the Rosary starting at 7:00pm. Funeral Mass will follow Friday afternoon, January 27, 2006 at 1:00pm. Interment will be at All Soul\u0027s Cemetery immediately after the Funeral Mass.
