Richard Diffin, 81, of Cottonwood died January 23, 2012. He was born February 21, 1930 in Cicero, New York, the son of Howard and Estell Diffin. He served his country during the Korean War as a sergeant in the Army. Mr. Diffin worked as an electrical engineer and motel owner. He will be remembered as a man who could fix anything and a loving father. His wife Joan Diffin and a daughter Elaine Diffin preceded him in death. He leaves a daughter Pamela Diffin (Arthur Mendez) of Cottonwood; a sister Esther Goodell of Bridgeport, New York and a lot of loving and close friends. A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 26 in the Westcott Funeral Home from 5-6 PM. A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 27 in the Valley View Cemetert at 11 AM.
