Katherine Gaughan

Katherine J. Gaughan, 70, of Clarkdale, Arizona died October 14, 2010. She was born April 17, 1940 in Hammond, Indiana, the daughter of Lawrence A. and Catherine Huppenthal. She was a graduate of St. Joseph School. She worked at the American Trust and Savings Bank in Whiting, Indiana. Mrs. Gaughan was a member of the Whiting Emblem Club, the Camp Verde (AZ) Historical Society and was named Volunteer of the Year by the Jerome Lodge of Elks in Arizona. She loved to cook, enjoyed crafts and gardening. She was preceded in death by her father Lawrence A. Huppenthal and her husband Patrick Gaughan. She leaves her daughter Shannon Gaughan-Kelly (Dan) of Indiana; her mother Catherine Huppenthal of Indiana; a brother Lawrence L. Huppenthal (Anne) of Indiana; and a sister Janet J. Phillips (Frederick) of Indiana. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, October 22, 2010 in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at 11 AM.
