Jimmie Brown, 78, of Cottonwood, AZ passed away on Friday, September 7, 2007. He was born in Carlsbad, New Mexico on June 19, 1929, to Stafford and Olga (King) Brown. He was a graduate of Carlsbad High School. Mr. Brown worked as an engineer retiring from Boeing Aerospace Division at Edwards Airforce Base in California. He was in the United States Navy serving in the Korean War. Mr. Brown was proud of his veteran status, and was passionate about his country and those who served. He was instrumental in establishing the Veterans Memorial at the Veterans of Foreign War Post in Bull Head City, AZ. He was a loving father to his children, James Michael Brown and his wife Patty of Edgewood, Texas, Kelly Smith and her husband Mark of San Marcos, California, and Tracey Brown of Venice Beach, California. He was a devoted grandfather to his four grandchildren, Jeremy Blake, Heather Sheeleen, James Beau Brown, and Ashlyn Irene Smith, and his five great grandchildren. He was also a wonderful friend to many people. Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his wife Charlotte in 2005. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, September 15th at 10:00 A.M. at Desert Lawn Memorial Garden, 9250 South Ranchero Lane, in Mohave Valley, Arizona.
