Heatherbelle Dustman

Heatherbelle Dustman, 96 of Cottonwood, passed away on November 24, 2010 in Tucson. She was born on September 1, 1914 in Delta, CO to William and Lula (Carpenter) Cornforth. She attended Miami High School and was the past and present AZ Rep for the Christian Record Braille Foundation and worked for The Thing Shop. She was awarded as the number one representative for years for CRBF, was in Who\u0027s Who in missionaries listed in 1957 and was the lead in the play, "The Mad Honeymoon" at Miami High. She enjoyed serving the blind and playing and listening to music. She was the Toastmasters Club published poet and received the Nicholas J. Zieser Award from the National Federation of the Blind. Heatherbelle was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and humanitarian. We love and miss you now and forever! Heatherbelle was preceded in death by her husband Herman Dustman in 2002; daughter Crystal in 1967; son Danny in 1941; grandson Jimmy Dustman and great great grandson Thomas Jack Phillips, Jr. She is survived by sons Larry Dustman (Michele) of Chandler, AZ and John Dustman (Diane) of Scottsdale; daughter Lynda Young (Phillip) of Tucson; 12 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. A service will be held on Friday, December 3, 2010 at 12:00pm at Westcott Funeral Home in Cottonwood. Burial wil follow in Valley View Cemetery.
