Guadalupe Russell

Guadalupe Russell, 94 of Clarkdale, died Thursday, April 5, 2012 in Clarkdale. She was born June 10, 1917 in McCarthys, New Mexico, the daughter of Jose Antonio Sandoval and Juanita Sandoval. She attended Albuquerque Indian School. She was a housekeeper. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church where she served as treasurer/secretary. She enjoyed quilting. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Tommy Lewis and Joe Humolah Russell; a daughter Valerie D. Lewis-Tenakhongua and sons Cleve M. Lewis and Lawrence Russell and three brothers. She leaves sons Neil Lewis and Orville Lewis; daughters Sylvia Wilson, Reba Franco, Sandra Estrella, Carol Carillo, Tha-la Jackson; and many nieces and nephews in New Mexico; 43 grandchildren and 124 great-grandchildren and 107 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at the Bethany Baptist Church at the Yavapai-Apache Clarkdale Community Friday April 13 from 4-7 PM.
