George Playter

George Playter, 94, of Sedona passed away November 10, 2011. He was born July 8, 1917 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He served his country in the Army during World War II. Mr. Playter worked in sales. He was a member of the Church of the Red Rocks. He was preceded in death by three wives and a brother. Mr. Playter leaves a niece and his companion of twelve years, Muriel McClure. A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 18 in the Sunset Village Clubhouse at 205 S. Sunset Dr., Sedona at 10:30 AM. Donations in his memory may be made to the Church of the Red Rocks, 54 Bowstring Drive, Sedona, AZ 86336.
