Fred Kumpf

Frederick George Kmpf, Jr. "Grandpa Fred", 74 of Cottonwood, passed away the evening of July 5, 2010. Fred was the son of Fred G. Kumpf Sr. and Mildred Glore. He was born in Peoria, Ill, and is preceded in death by his loving wife Lola Martha. Although Fred leaves no known survivors, he will be sorely missed by his "Austin House Family". Fred enjoyed his daily devotions and bible study with our visiting pastors and passing his kindness on to all of those around him. We would like to thank the staff at Austin House for their love, compassion and care provided to Fred for the past six years and a sincere thank you to Verde Valley Community Hospice for their wonderful care provided to Fred during his last days with us. A celebration of life for Fred will be held at Austin House on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at 2:00 pm.
