Evelyn Parris

Evelyn Parris, 74, of Cottonwood died October 30. She was born May 19, 1934 in Roosevelt , Utah , the daughter of Dalton E. and Sylvia C. ( Anderson ) Hunt. Mrs. Parris attended Preston Elementary and Preston High Schools . She retired as a bookkeeper from an auto dealership. An active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, she was a primary teacher, and Relief Society teacher and an Inservice Leader. Her hobbies were painting, reading crocheting, genealogy and crafts. Her husband, Howard Parris preceded her in death. She leaves her sons, Donald G. Parris of Central, Arizona , Robert L. Parris of Havasu City , Arizona and Randy Parris of Cottonwood ; a daughter Diana L. Smithson of Cottonwood ; a brother Leland Hunt of California ; sixteen grandchildren and fifteen greatgrandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Nov.5 in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 11 AM. An hour of visitation will proceed the service. Burial will be in Idaho .
