Evelyn Marquis

Evelyn Marquis, 94, passed away May 13, 2014. She was born in Kremis, Pennsylvania to Irven and Hannah Reash. In 1938 she married Kenneth Marquis, who passed away in 2006. For many years they lived in Andover, Ohio where they owned and operated an Islay Store and Restaurant and Dairy Queen. In 1972 they moved to Phoenix and to Cottonwood in 1982. Preceding her in death were a son Les in 2014; her parents, two brothers and a sister. Survivors include a daughter Judy Paulus; a daughter in law Donna Marquis, both of Cottonwood; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. No services are planned.
