Dorothy Howieson

Dorothy Howieson, 75, a former long time resident of Cottonwood, AZ, passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2006 in Atlanta, GA. She was the daughter of Peter Jokola and Helen Krivokucha on December 27, 1930 in Greensburg, PA. Mrs. Howieson had worked as a secretary before moving to the Verde Valley from California. She is survived by her daughter, Debra Hebert of Georgia; her son, Peter Slaney of Oregon; her sister, Evelyn Rapaich of California; 2 brothers, Robert Jokola of California and Peter Jokola of Texas; and her uncle, Phillip Monte of Pennsylvania. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2006 at 1:00pm at Westcott Funeral Home, 1013 E. Mingus Ave. in Cottonwood, AZ. Dorothy will be interred next to her beloved husband, Jack L. Howieson at Valley View Cemetery in Clarkdale, AZ.
