Darrell “Wally” Wilburn, 81 of Clarkdale, passed away at his home. Wally was loved by all. He resided in Clarkdale for 23 wonderful years. He spent a lot of his time at his pecan grove in Camp Verde. He loved golf and would teach anyone who would listen. He belonged to Pine Shadows Golf Course for many years where he loved to bet on the rounds.
A former resident of Highland, CA, he and his wife Suzie owned and operated East Highlands Market. He and his wife of 63 years were members of Silent Valley Campground in CA for over 30 years where he enjoyed playing pool and horseshoes with his friends.
Wally is survived by his beloved wife and sidekick Evelyn “Suzie” of 63 years; his brother Ray Wilburn and wife Mary of AZ; his daughter Shelley Amaya of Highland, CA and her son Darrell Joey Paramo and wife April of Highland, CA; his son Scott Wilburn and wife Rose of Montana and Clarkdale with their children Lindy Lay and Corey of Stevensville, MT and Wally Wilburn of Helena, MT; his great-grandchildren Chance Paramo and Christian Paramo of CA and Tucker Lay, Daisey Lay and Dixie Reba Lay of MT; and nieces and nephews too numerous to name but you know who you are.
He was the best and amazing husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be greatly missed.
