Arthur Flower

Arthur Flower, 89 of Cottonwood, passed on December 24, 2010. He was born April 17, 1921 in Spokane, Washington. A WWII veteran, he was a gifted drummer, composer and artist. His southwest illustrations have been transformed into greeting cards via Flower Art Production. He taught music and band for many years in the San Francisco Public School system. He was also a member of the house band at the famed venue Bimbo¿½s 365 Club. Notably, he collaborated on recordings and other projects with his daughters, Wendy and Bonnie. He was also a loving parent to many cherished pets. In addition to his daughters, he leaves behind his beloved wife Jeane, as well as brother Richard. Art¿½s memory is revered by family, friends, students and the children who enjoy his artwork, stories and songs. There are no services planned.
